Principal Consultants

ED Sciences Principal Consultants are experienced, nationally known environmental scientists and engineers who have developed and managed technical issues in challenging environmental litigation. 

 

Gordon Treweek, PhD, PE, has a decade of experience in water treatment and wastewater disposal as a Vice President/Department Manager with MWH.  He recently retired after 11 years as Vice President and Manager of the Remediation Division of Tetra Tech.

 

E. John List, PhD, PE, developed the scientific issues for defense counsel in the Palos Verdes DDT NRDA litigation, for plaintiffs counsel in the San Luis Drain litigation, and for defense counsel in the Iron Mountain Mine litigation.  Dr. List is an Emeritus Professor of Environmental Engineering Science at the California Institute of Technology.

Location

ED Sciences is located in Pasadena, CA with ready access to the scientific libraries and faculties of UCLA, USC, Caltech and UC Irvine.  In addition, three large environmental consulting engineering firms (Parsons, Jacobs, and Tetra Tech) are headquartered in Pasadena should the need arise for conventional engineering services.

Outside Consultants

ED Sciences depends extensively on independent consultants, many of whom are respected scientists and research faculty at Universities throughout the US.  These individuals have agreed to serve as retained consultants to ED Sciences, with their participation in litigation reviewed and managed by ED Sciences.  The fields of expertise provided by ED Sciences consultants are sufficiently broad so as to provide technical support across the complete spectrum of issues arising in complex environmental litigation.
